{"id":1657,"date":"2011-12-29T12:48:55","date_gmt":"2011-12-29T10:48:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.quelibroleo.com\/noticias\/?p=1657"},"modified":"2012-01-02T11:37:46","modified_gmt":"2012-01-02T09:37:46","slug":"fallece-el-poeta-y-editor-colombiano-nicanor-velez","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/quelibroleo.com\/noticias\/autores\/fallece-el-poeta-y-editor-colombiano-nicanor-velez\/","title":{"rendered":"Fallece el poeta y editor colombiano Nicanor V\u00e9lez"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.quelibroleo.com\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Nicanor_Velez_editor_poeta.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1658\" style=\"border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Nicanor V\u00e9lez\" src=\"http:\/\/www.quelibroleo.com\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Nicanor_Velez_editor_poeta.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"299\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El colombiano <a title=\"Nicanor V\u00e9lez\" href=\"http:\/\/www.quelibroleo.com\/autores\/velez-nicanor\" target=\"_blank\">Nicanor V\u00e9lez<\/a>, poeta y editor de la colecci\u00f3n de Poes\u00eda de Galaxia Gutenberg-C\u00edrculo de Lectores, falleci\u00f3 hoy en Barcelona, inform\u00f3 este sello editorial.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00e9lez (Medell\u00edn, 1959) compatibiliz\u00f3 su labor de editor con la de poeta y autor de art\u00edculos y ensayos sobre la obra de Pablo Neruda, Octavio Paz, Gonzalo Rojas, Jos\u00e9 Angel Valente o sus compatriotas Jos\u00e9 Asunci\u00f3n Silva y Giovanni Quessep.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Autor de tres libros de poemas: \u00abLa memoria del tacto\u00bb, \u00abLa luz que parpadea\u00bb, y el recientemente publicado en editorial Pre-Textos, \u00abLa vida que respira\u00bb, desarroll\u00f3 una importante carrera editorial, que desempe\u00f1\u00f3 desde 1989.<\/p>\n<p>Desde 1997 fund\u00f3 y dirigi\u00f3 la cuidada colecci\u00f3n de poes\u00eda de la editorial Galaxia Gutenber-C\u00edrculo de lectores, que consagr\u00f3 a grandes poetas del siglo XX y public\u00f3 significativas antolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>En ese sello fue adem\u00e1s el responsable editorial de las obras completas de Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cort\u00e1zar, Jos\u00e9 Angel Valente, G\u00e9rard de Nerval, Jaime Gil de Biedma, Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca, Octavio Paz, Pablo Neruda y Rub\u00e9n Dar\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00e9lez se traslad\u00f3 desde Colombia a Par\u00eds en 1981, donde se diplom\u00f3 en la \u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciencies Sociales.<\/p>\n<p>Desde finales de 1984 residi\u00f3 en Espa\u00f1a, donde se licenci\u00f3 en Filolog\u00eda Espa\u00f1ola por la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Barcelona y obtuvo el Diploma de Estudios Avanzados en Po\u00e9tica del Verso y de la Prosa por la Universidad de Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madrid, 28 dic (EFE)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El colombiano Nicanor V\u00e9lez, poeta y editor de la colecci\u00f3n de Poes\u00eda de Galaxia Gutenberg-C\u00edrculo de Lectores, falleci\u00f3 hoy en Barcelona, inform\u00f3 este sello editorial.
